taipei

reeko would be jealous if he was there, there are just so many dog lovers in taipei, and they bring them wherever they go, in the mrt, to the malls, almost everywhere.

this was taken at the national palace musuem, the hotel lady recommended this, we went in and came out in 5 minutes bcos we were not interested to see cabbage in jade form and urine pots used in qing dynasty.

there was this pumpkin contest going on. real pumpkins.

stopping to chat with dog lover. this happens alot throughout the trip

famous matsu temple in danshui

taken in jiufen. dad says sg fishball best. fishball over there taste lyk flour

ice kachang taiwan jiufen style

dad was patting his head then 5 mins later he dozed off

meal at din tai fung, equally tasteless over in taiwan!

ordered mango red tea, the orange layer at the bottom is actually mango slushie or smth lidat.

saw this mini coke tt cost lyk $1.50, more ex than the regular sized one, and this yakult is the biggest ive seen, even bigger than bkk ones

tis girl v cute. we saw her lying against the wall waiting for her mum, den dad ask her why she so chubby, she dont uds, dad ask her if she want sweets, den she uds

i havent set on a cable car since dunno when, and in sg, the cable car is like from A to B is like 15 mins? this one in maokong takes 30 mins, up and down hill. only for less than $2.

the cable car last stop was at this mountain, and we passed by this artistic restaurant, went in to take a break bcos we were tired from walking. and there were f alot of big mosquit

got my haircut there. now im back and it is in a mess again. =S

this guy was riding with his pomeranian trying to balance off his back.

we paid for $2 entrance fee to see this stone on the right, its called the queen head or smth lidat. i was wondering why is it even an attraction?

and then we went to a restaurant nearby for dinner, since the place is near the fishing harbour, we thought the seafood must be fresh, and indeed they are.

some temple nearby

this dog looks normal like this

but its the biggest dog ive seen in my life. even bigger than a chow chow, and this shop owner has 3 of them, they are like the size of a tiger. dad say come, and one came out, i dont even dare to touch it. bcos it looked kind of fierce. jus look at their paws, like dunno how many times of reeko's. can punch ppl liao.

this taken at keelung, miaokou night market.
actually we went to alot of night markets, and i thought the food are all 大同小异.

although theres koi everywhere, but this stall is better than koi. i bought 2 cups in a day, almost everyday. damn nice. passionfruit tea with coconut jelly, passion fruit seeds, and pearls. sweet and sour.

葱油饼 or you can call it chinese prata

on the way to xinbeitou hot spring, we saw these natives having fun at this drain, the water flows from the mountain through here, den dunno to where, i was sitting on a stone with my legs in the water. enjoying the warmth, when after this we went up and saw this old man spit into the drain.
n den i realise this water is not clean. yucks.

steam rising from the water. 90 plus deg.

刀削面 mum said this is the only nice thing she had in taiwan. and i agree. hahah

and that is all.
